Continuing Help Ticket Saga . . .

The week just wouldn’t be complete unless I put in a Customer Support ticket. Guess what? I put in two (3) this week. I had to put one in because WordPress needed an update just as I was trying to download the five (5) plugins that we needed to install for assignment 2. Once I received “failed to install” one after another, then I noticed the “upload needed” link. I clicked and tried to start the update, but I received another error message. But after submitting a ticket, it was fixed in about an hour.

The second Customer Support ticket was submitted because I tried to upload HTML/CSS files via FTP and the server wouldn’t create a folder that I needed for Chapter 8 files. That error got fixed in about half an hour. Glad about that. It wasn’t fixed. I had to submit another one.

Crochet Club Update . . .

I was disappointed for the second week in a row that no students showed up for the weekly session of the Crochet Club. I know that at this time of the semester that it is a busy time especially when students are receiving final project assignments. Still, I find setting aside a time each week for a relaxing gathering for a couple of hours proves very satisfying. I’ll still stop by each Friday at 2:00 PM just in case someone should stop by to work on their projects.

Asher Update . . .

I spoke with my son earlier this week to confirm that he, my daughter-in-law, and grandson will be come down to the vacation house for Thanksgiving. Fearing that traveling will make the baby ill or irritable, my son said that they will be staying at a B&B instead of at my vacation house. My mother, who is 91, is excited to see her new grandson in person. She, my brother and his wife will be coming up from Racine. I’m pondering the dinner menu as my boyfriend is now lactose intolerant and will have to plan dishes accordingly.
